CSW Side Event: Equality at All Levels

Despite moving forward in our common vision to achieve gender justice, massive inequalities still persist globally, including securing the respect of human rights for women and girls and the achievement of SDG goal 5. Religious, economic and political fundamentalisms are gaining strength leading to a backlash on gender equality and women and girls’ rights. Faith actors must counter this attack on women and girls and create a new narrative that positions faith-based actors as a central part of the solution.

Join us for an interactive dialogue to explore how, together, we can “push back against the push back”. During the event we will launch Christian Aid’s new report ‘Equality at All Levels: Strengthening the Role of Faith-Based Actors in Promoting the Agenda of Beijing +25’.
