The European Union-funded SEA-AIR Project conducted its Final Conference on FoRB Policy and Practice on June 8 and 9. The event was co-hosted by the UN Office on Genocide Prevention and the Responsibility to Protect. The conference presented grant outputs, outcomes, best practices, and insights into the state of FoRB on Day 1, and on policy recommendations and contributions to Sustainable Development Goals 5 and 16 on Day 2. SEA-AIR communications staff engaged with local media in the region to promote the event, and published a summary of the project and its goals in the Bangkok Post.
Four FoRB Policy Briefs on media, gender, education and religious minorities, have been published, examining FoRB policy recommendations in Education, Gender, Minority Rights, and Social Media..
