The Global Center on Cooperative Security has announced a call for proposals from civil society organizations in Southeast Asia to undertake initiatives focused on elevating the role of women in preventing and countering violent extremism. This small funding opportunity is one element of a broader program, coordinated by the Global Center and funded by the Government of the Netherlands, aimed at strengthening the networks and capacity of women and women-led organizations in Southeast Asia to prevent and counter violent extremism. The lessons and experiences derived from projects funded under this small grants component will help to inform recommendations for policymakers and practitioners working to advance a gender dimension in national-level P/CVE action plans and strategies in Southeast Asia.
