Ms. Kopila Thapa has more than a decade-long professional experience in the field of development sectors in various capacities especially Finance, Administration, and Program Management including gender equality, and the empowerment of women and girls in peace and security sectors.

She worked with National and International Non-government Organizations (Practical Action South Asia Regional Office), UN Agencies (UN Women and United Nations High Commissioner for Refugee -UNHCR), and a bi-lateral organization (GIZ) in Nepal including research work in Cambodia and Thailand. Before joining FCA, she was working with the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT) on an EU-funded project in Bangkok, Thailand.

Academically, she has a double Masters’s Degree in Business Studies (MBS) from Tribhuvan University, Nepal, and Development Studies from the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok Thailand under the Joint Japan/World Bank Graduates Scholarship Programme (JJ/WBGSP).
