In 2019, the Sultanate of Oman launched a new initiative, “Declaration Towards United Human Values,” calling for the universal adaptation of a global system of ethics that promotes mutual understanding and peaceful coexistence. The Declaration is an essential first step towards identifying shared beliefs and bridging cultural gaps, which is essential for peace, security, and development. Moreover, the initiative aims to provide the necessary framework for international cooperation toward empowering and uplifting all humans and societies in achieving their goals and aspirations.
